Here is how you turn a bad sittuation into something worse. Even if you don't agree with me in my acessment that TTIP, as it is, is bad, this can only make it worse:

"TTIP — MALMSTRÖM WANTS TO CUT A DEAL. NOW. “The European Union is ready to make difficult concessions to conclude talks on a free trade agreement with the United States by the end of the year … ‘We are prepared to make the political choices needed to close this deal,’ European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström said in a speech at the Atlantic Council after talks Tuesday with the U.S. administration.”"

So, we want TTIP so bad (afraid of what happens to it if it isn't signed during Obama's term) that we go to the negotiations after stating - just like this - that we can concede on things as long as it speeds up its approval. Notice, the Trade Commissioner didn't say we're ready to cut on TTIP's scope to make it an easier and speedier agreement to make, we actually said we are 'ready to make difficult concessions'. Way to go, +European Commission. Don't you act surprised, then, when you hear about Europe's citizens being against deals made this way, like #CETA   or #TTIP .
